Shayne and I are currently living in and exploring Taos, NM.  I have been writing about it extensively on my blog. We are amazed at the openness of the people and the expansive landscape. Taos is also opening me up creatively. I am working on a series of big, wide open earrings and some interesting pendants incorporating some river stones I have found. Sometimes a change of scenery really is what a creative person needs to get re-inspired. Taos is certainly having that effect on me! Thank you for visiting my website today…of all the places you could come to, you are most welcome here!

Thank you for stopping by my virtual home!  I travel full-time with my husband and toy poodle, Sadie, so we are really nomadic not only in spirit, but in reality too! We are both from Arkansas, and took the state motto Arkansas Traveler to heart! My husband is able to work via the Internet, so as long as we have a good connection, our office can be anywhere.  We travel with all of our possessions packed tightly in our car, and we rent vacation homes, mother-in-law apartments, or find other house-sitting arrangements across the country.  We prefer to stay in a place for a couple of months so we can really get to know a location and meet people before moving on to the next destination.  When we started our adventure, we thought we would stick to an itinerary, but that got thrown out of the window after our first month on the road. We decide on destinations via friends we meet, whim or serendipity-often a mixture of all three!  We are having a blast meeting fascinating people, seeing beautiful scenery and experiencing regional cultural differences. All of this traveling contributes to design ideas I get for my jewelry and I fabricate my jewelry while on the road and ship it out across the country.  It is a dream life, and I often wonder if I will someday wake up…I hope not!  I write about my experiences in my blog and occasionally I tweet. Thank you for dropping by!
