Hot Springs, Arkansas

We found a new place to spend the next couple of months. I went to Hot Springs last week and put the down payment on a three bedroom/two bath house that looks like it is a treehouse. I am really excited to spend more time in central Arkansas, as this is a wonderful place to do some gemstone hunting with all of the mines around me. One of the best crystal mines in the world is just down the road from where we will be staying.  How fun!  I am also hoping to find a lapidary artist I can meet and maybe work with to learn more about taking rough rock and turning it into something one would want to wear.

I am having wonderful time at my mother’s.  I have been walking, dieting and getting back into touch with many people that I haven’t seen in years.  There is much to say about coming home…it feels great!
